As of April 2024, geopolitical risks and uncertainties are escalating globally. In Japan, the birthrate is declining, the population is aging, and efforts to promote women's participation in society are advancing. Technological innovation, especially in generative AI, and the globalization of economies and societies, represent significant trends. In this rapidly changing global landscape, the Faculty of Business Studies at Kyoritsu Women's University aims to cultivate talented individuals capable of understanding contemporary shifts and meeting societal demands. We have established specific medium- and long-term goals, and will implement targeted programs to achieve these objectives.

(i) Fostering flexibility and creativity to adapt to changing times

We will emphasize flexibility and creativity to adapt to a rapidly changing society and evolving technological developments. By nurturing the ability to think beyond traditional boundaries and fostering creativity to innovate, we aim to cultivate individuals who can transform societal changes and technological advances into opportunities. Through advanced business knowledge and skills, we aim to empower women to assume leadership roles in society confidently.

Maintaining a global perspective, we will leverage our prime Tokyo location to highlight the value of locally rooted knowledge, encompassing history, culture, and the thriving AI and tech sector. We will emphasize visionary leadership adept at navigating rapid changes and fostering organizational and societal transformations. We emphasize cultivating a profound understanding of one's strengths, weaknesses, values, and beliefs. By enhancing self-awareness and solidifying core values, we aim to develop leaders with steadfast resolve.

(iii) Lifelong learning attitude and pursuit of personal growth

We value a lifelong attitude towards continuous learning, echoing the principles instilled during our student days. By consistently enhancing our abilities and acquiring new knowledge and skills, we cultivate individuals capable of adapting to evolving societal and business landscapes.
